Tiruvarur is famous for the biggest and beautiful temple car.  Pithwork artist Shri K.A Chokkalingam presented a 4 feet tall pithwork model to the president of India Shri Venkataraman. The Tiruvarur temple model is still present at the Rastrapathi Bhavan at Delhi. This model also won a National award to Shri K.A Chokkalingam in 1987.

A famous temple in India located at Tirupathi in the Andra Pradesh state of India. The main scantum is fully covered with gold plates. One can see the beautiful Pith model of the temple called as Vaikuntam( Heaven on Earth).
